Junior Marketing & Content Specialist

  • Hybrid
    • Zaventem, Vlaams Gewest, Belgium

Job description

We like words. But we love people who know how to use them even more.

At CRANIUM Group (yes, that includes CRANIUM and Cingulum), we help organisations take control of their data, get their privacy right, and stay resilient against cyber risks.

Curious what that means? Let one of our consultants, Rani, explain to you what it is she does:

Now we’re looking for a Junior Marketing & Content Specialist to help bring our brand voice to life across socials, proposals, campaigns and more.

Think this sounds like you?
Let’s walk through your day.

Job requirements

A day in the life.

8:30: Start with a coffee, and a chat.

You kick off the day with a strong coffee or tea, and a quick hello at someone’s desk or on Teams. Then it’s time to check the planning and get into focus mode.

9:00: Social planning mode: on.

There are blog posts coming up, so you spend the morning building this month’s social media plan. You pick the best topics, write fun, scroll-stopping posts, and design visuals that pop. The tone? A mix of insight and personality, because yes, privacy and security can be both sharp and fun.

11:00: Team time.

At 11:00, you meet two consultants working on a blog about NIS2, a topic still new to you. They bring the expertise. You help turn it into something clear, structured and worth reading.

12:00: Lunch = fun too.

Lunch means good food and even better company. You join the team in the kitchen or outside when the sun’s kind. Some bring leftovers, some forget lunch entirely (again), and someone almost always brings treats.

13:00: Tender time!

Next up: a tender proposal. After a short briefing with Sales, or a consultant who knows the case, you dive in. You read between the lines of the request, try to spot what’s important the client, and shape the proposal around it. You write clear, commercial copy from scratch and catch a typo (good catch!). By the time it’s back with Sales, it sounds like us… and it answers exactly what the client is asking for.

 16:30: One last spark.

Before the day ends, you do a final check on a campaign text or website page. Maybe you tweak a heading, rework a CTA, or suggest a better structure. You make sure everything sounds like us and reads like something people want to engage with.

No two days are the same. Some are full of writing. Others are about planning, editing, or learning something new.

Who we’re looking for

  • You love writing, whether it’s a punchy LinkedIn post, a clear web page or a commercial proposal from scratch

  • You’re comfortable juggling different types of content and formats: social posts, tender texts, campaign copy, the odd webpage…

  • You’re excited to learn the ropes of digital marketing (think writing ad copy, updating webpages, doing keyword research etc.)

  • You're organised enough to manage planning, flexible enough to jump into something last-minute

  • Curiosity is your default setting, you may not know it all, but you ask, test, and try

  • You take initiative, bring ideas proactively, and help shape your role, not just fill it.

  • You write in perfect English, Dutch (French is a bonus).

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree ( Marketing & communication is a plus).

  • You have up to one year of experience.

  • You read all the above and think: “Hell yes. Where do I sign?”

Who are we not looking for?

  • You prefer detailed step-by-step instructions over taking initiative

  • “Meh, it’s fine” is your idea of a finished product

  • Feedback makes you defensive, or you don’t give it when it’s needed

  • You’re looking for a solo seat, not a team to grow and build with

  • You have zero interest in privacy, security or data, and no real intention to learn (Let’s be honest: we don’t expect you to be a DPO, but if these topics make your eyes glaze over, this won’t be your thing)

What’s in it for you?

We ask a lot. And we give a lot too:

A market-competitive salary
Plus extra-legal benefits like meal vouchers, eco-cheques, hospital insurance, a CLA90 bonus, and more. You name it, we offer it.

Mobility your way
Choose a company car or a mobility budget you can shape to fit your life. Train, bike, hoverboard, we’re not judging.

Flexibility, not just on paper
Hybrid work, flex hours, and the freedom to do great work without losing sight of your life outside it.

Learn as you go (and grow)
You’ll get access to the CRANIUM Academy, expert sessions, and a yearly learning budget. Because good content starts with curious people.

Real support, no micromanaging
From day one, you’ll have a buddy to show you the ropes, a people manager who truly has your back, and regular check-ins to help you grow. There’s space to shape your role and support when you need it.

A healthy mind in a healthy team
Join a padel match or yoga session, hop into our office gym, or speak to a psychologist via Alan, our health partner with top-tier insurance.
